Road Debris is Endangering Ohioans

Tarp Those Loads 

truck tarpThe Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and WSYX TV Channel 6 recently produced a news story to remind everyone about the danger of road debris on Franklin County Roadways.

 

Remember when heading to the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill tarp laws require drivers to secure the load with a tarp so materials cannot escape from the vehicle and become a hazard to motorists on the roadway.trauck tarps 01

 

Last year 18 fatal accidents were blamed on road debris. In the last four years there have been more than 18,000 crashes. More than 100 of them have been fatal, all as a result of road debris.
