SWACO partners with many organizations in Franklin County to offer hands-on training and materials to use in the classroom. Partnering agencies include, but are not limited to: Metro Parks, Franklin Soil and Water Conservation District, Columbus City Schools, Ohio Department of Education, COSI, and the City of Columbus Jackson Pike Waste Water Treatment Facility. Workshops are designed to meet Common Core and Ohio’s new learning standards. CEU's and/or Grad Credit are offered at all workshops. Workshops are typically conducted in the summer months.
