Sustainability, waste reduction and those who promote them take center stage as the Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) hosts the annual EMERALDS, the premier green awards program of the region.

With the belief that today's throwaways are the foundation for tomorrow, SWACO acts as a catalyst to bring about innovative waste reduction and recycling.

Those joining them in best green practices will be honored at the 2012 SWACO EMERALDS Luncheon.
