(This product, once dried, is not considered hazardous and can be disposed of in the trash.)
Latex paint is water soluble and can be dried out for disposal in the trash.There are paint hardeners available in stores or you can mix the paint with cat litter or sawdust. Leave the lid off to speed up the process. When the paint is dry, throw it in with your regular trash.

SWACO provides HHW disposal services for all Franklin County residents. Businesses should contact EEI to inquire about the disposal of hazardous materials at a commercially licensed facility. Please call 614-294-1300 Hours at SWACO’s Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Center have been expanded. An extra day has also been added for the convenience of residents of Franklin County. Residents can bring their old lawn chemicals, paints strippers, acids, insecticides, etc (See list below) for environmentally safe disposal.
