Apply to become a School Recycling Champion for the 2022 - 2023 School Year!

Applications will be accepted beginning Spring 2022 through August 2022

The program provides recycling containers and education resources to implement comprehensice school recycling programs. This program is designed to help schools implement sustainable recycling programs that teach students and staff how to recycle right at school. Eligible schools can receive financial assistance to support the purchase of blue recycling containers for classrooms and other school areas.

In exchange for receiving recycling containers for your school, schools will be asked to commit to assessing the current recycling program, adopt recycling best practices, and educate staff and students with educational resources provided by SWACO.
