Innovation & Programs Team Members

SWACO's Innovation & Programs Department is responsible for helping the organization and the Franklin County community reach a strategic goal of maximizing waste reduction & diversion through a coordinated approach.

To accomplish this, the department collaborates with various local, state and national partners to offer adult education workshops, waste reduction and recycling programs for residents, businesses, schools, non-profits and community partners, and spurs innovation through the encouragement and financial support of local projects which help SWACO meet its mission to improve the community's waste stream through effective reduction, recycling & reuse.
