Food Waste Reduction Capacity Grant

SWACO has collaborated with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) since 2021 on the Food Matters Initiative to achieve meaningful reductions in food waste in central Ohio. As part of this partnership, SWACO and NRDC are partnering with the City of Columbus and Franklin County to offer a one-time competitive grant opportunity, the Central Ohio Food Waste Reduction Capacity Grant. This grant opportunity is made possible through funding from NRDC.

The Central Ohio Food Waste Reduction Capacity Grant will support community-driven initiatives that advance the central Ohio region's efforts to reduce food waste by 50% by 2030.
