Transfer Station Changes Enhance Safety

In early November, SWACO notified waste hauling partners that effective immediately no small trucks, trailers, or box trucks will be able to utilize the Morse Road Eco-Station or Jackson Pike Transfer Stations for the drop-off of waste materials. Only registered refuse vehicles such as front loaders, rear loaders, side loaders, and roll-off trucks will be permitted to use these facilities as the result of increased traffic and safety concerns. Vehicles impacted by the change still have the ability to deliver materials to the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill located at 4239 London Groveport Rd., Grove City, OH where there's more room to unload, maneuver safely and additional staff are available to help direct traffic and ensure proper procedures are followed.
