The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) has promoted Rebecca L. Egelhoff (43235) to Legal Affairs Director. As Director, Rebecca will continue to handle all of SWACO’s day to day legal affairs and provide strategic counsel to the SWACO Board of Trustees, leadership and management teams. 

The announcement was made by Executive Director Ty Marsh last week in an email to staff. “I am pleased to announce the promotion of Rebecca Egelhoff from Managing Counsel to Director of Legal Affairs effective immediately,” the statement read. 

“Becky is an invaluable and respected member of the SWACO team,” Marsh continued. “Her promotion reflects the organization’s recognition for higher-level leadership in the legal area combined with her demonstrated abilities, contributions and value to the organization in the advancement of our mission.”

With the promotion, Egelhoff will become a direct report to the Executive Director and serve on the senior leadership group consisting of Jeff Wilkins, Director of Administration, Scott Perry, Director of Operations and Kyle O’Keefe, Director of Innovation and Programs.

Rebecca has been employed with SWACO since 2011 serving as Managing Counsel during that time.
