Eleven deserving community waste reduction programs have been awarded funding for 2018.
The Community Waste Reduction Grant program supports unique and innovative waste reduction, recycling, and composting projects throughout Franklin County. This year’s grant projects include the support of food waste composting in schools and at an urban farm, reducing water bottle usage and installing water bottle filling stations, enhanced recycling collection in public facilities, reducing food waste through preservation and distribution to neighbors in need and more.
The 2019 Community Waste Reduction Grant cycle will begin in June 2018. For more information, click here.
