Earth Week in Columbus

Since 2007, thanks to Green Columbus, this area has benefited from more than 100,000 hours of resident “green” service.

Service sites vary in size from 5 to 300 volunteers, and range from neighborhood litter sweeps, community gardens, and river-cleanups, to tree planting and invasive species removal.

Green Columbus offers opportunities for companies and organizations to host service sites and for employees to volunteer throughout central Ohio.

Last year, SWACO volunteers supported activities at Southside Community Garden and the Monarch Butterfly Garden.
