Budd Dairy Food Hall

Who They Are

Budd Dairy Food Hall is a premier culinary destination in Columbus, bringing together innovative, chef-driven concepts, local flavors and community experiences under one historic roof. Located in the restored 1916 Budd Dairy building in Italian Village, the food hall celebrates the city’s rich heritage while serving as an incubator for emerging culinary talent.

With diverse dining options, vibrant gathering spaces, rooftop views and year-round events, Budd Dairy Food Hall is where locals and visitors come together to discover great food, connect with community and experience the best of Columbus.

Why They’re a Champion

Budd Dairy Food Hall played a key role in laying the foundation for the Food Waste Champion Program through its participation in the 2024 pilot. All food vendors participate in back-of-house composting, while guests are offered convenient front-of-house composting options.

The program was made possible through the Champions initiative, which supplied collection containers and signage to support the efficient capture and diversion of food scraps from landfills, along with reimbursement for the first six months of compost hauling.
