About Jackson Pike
Due to safety concerns, residents are not permitted to use SWACO Transfer Stations. The SWACO Jackson Pike Transfer Station services the City of Columbus and commercial waste haulers. Only haulers with a credit agreement with the Authority may dispose of waste at the transfer stations. Special Waste is not accepted at transfer stations and must be disposed of at the landfill.
Tarps & Safety Vests
- All loads must be fully tarped prior to entering any SWACO disposal facility.
- All customers must wear a vest on the landfill if they exit their vehicles.
Rates
It is $51.75 per ton with a $5 minimum charge.

Directions
From downtown Columbus, take Interstate 71 south toward Grove City (Jackson Township). Exit the interstate at Frank Road and head east, turning right (south) immediately after the bridge onto Jackson Pike. The Jackson Pike Transfer Station is located approximately a mile south on the left (east) side of the road.
