The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO) owns and operates a Community Resource Center, the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill and two Transfer Stations for the purpose of improving the Franklin County waste stream through diversion, recycling and reuse, and the safe and efficient disposal of waste.
Service Area
SWACO's facilities serve the residents, businesses, governmental and educational partners of the Solid Waste District. The District consists of all of Franklin County and portions of surrounding counties to the extent those municipalities extend into adjacent counties.
