GlamazonJayne’s mission is to support the local artist community by creating a hub where artists of all kinds can collaborate, promote projects and buy, sell and trade their work. The space is dedicated to providing a welcoming environment for performing artists, transgender women and fashion-loving individuals. Who They Are
Why They’re a Champion
Glamazon Jayne became a Business Recycling Champion in June 2026 after receiving a recycling container from SWACO to help launch a program at the business. The container provides a convenient drop-off location for customers and others passing through the alley outside the shop, helping expand recycling access in the downtown area.
Owner Janus Koziuk has been a strong advocate for increasing recycling opportunities around Gay and Pearl streets, where many buildings do not currently offer recycling services. Beyond recycling, Glamazon Jayne is committed to waste reduction through education, hosting free workshops that teach community members how to repair and mend clothing instead of discarding it.
SWACO also supported Glamazon Jayne’s Earth Month Spring Showcase in April. The event highlighted local designers who created pieces using recycled fabrics, demonstrating the creative potential of reuse while promoting sustainability within the community.
