Marble Plastic

Who They Are

Marble Plastics manufactures architectural surfaces made entirely from recycled materials for commercial interior spaces. Produced without virgin plastic or binders, the company’s materials are locally sourced and manufactured in Columbus. Marble Plastics transforms discarded plastic into durable surfaces for countertops, casework, furniture and other architectural applications. Each product preserves a visible record of the recycled materials from which it was made, creating distinctive designs that support both sustainability and long-term use.

Why They’re a Champion

Marble Plastics launched its recycling program with support from the Business Recycling Champions Program, which provided reimbursement for the company’s first six months of recycling service. This assistance helped establish a sustainable waste management process while reducing startup costs. Today, Marble Plastics goes beyond traditional recycling by collecting and recycling various types of plastic, which are repurposed into raw materials used in its products. By expanding its recycling efforts and finding innovative ways to reuse plastic materials, Marble Plastics demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability and resource conservation.
