Who They Are
Why They’re a Champion
Resource International, Inc. (Rii) is recognized by SWACO as a Business Recycling Champion for its commitment to expanding recycling opportunities and increasing waste diversion throughout its office and laboratory facilities. Through its partnership with SWACO, the company enhanced its recycling program with additional recycling containers and educational signage, including deskside bins and larger collection containers in shared spaces, making recycling more convenient and accessible for employees.
Resource International also introduced a battery recycling collection program to help properly manage hard-to-recycle materials generated in the workplace. To further support its sustainability efforts, the company incorporated SWACO’s recycling education video into its new employee onboarding process, helping team members understand recycling best practices from day one. By combining convenient recycling infrastructure with ongoing employee education, Resource International continues to strengthen its commitment to sustainability and responsible waste management.
