Why They’re a Champion
Sweeney’s was already actively recycling but partnered with SWACO to strengthen staff and customer education and improve the collection of recyclable materials on its patio. Through the Business Recycling Champions Program, SWACO provided outdoor recycling containers to help capture more recyclable materials in the space. The containers also feature clear signage to help customers and staff identify what can be recycled and what belongs in the trash, making recycling easier and more effective.
