Visionary Sign partnered with SWACO’s Business Recycling Champions Program to strengthen and expand its workplace recycling efforts. Through the program, the company transitioned from self-hauling recyclables to establishing service with a local recycling hauler and received reimbursement for its recycling service. Visionary Sign also partnered with neighboring business Messer Truck & Van to launch a building widevertical_black_background recycling program, demonstrating how nearby businesses can work together to create a successful and sustainable recycling effort. Both companies received recycling containers, signage and customized educational resources to help engage and inform employees.
Visionary Sign’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond traditional recyclables. In addition to recycling common materials, the company is exploring opportunities to recycle nontraditional items, including yard signs, through partnerships with local recyclers.
