The School Recycling Champion program was created to assist schools in Franklin County, Ohio begin or improve their recycling programs. The program is designed to help schools build a successful, sustainable, comprehensive program that can serve as a model to other schools within or outside of the school district.

Join the School Recycling Champion Program and our dedicated School Programs Administrator will walk you through the phases below.
Upon completion of the program, schools will receive recognition as a School Recycling Champion with an award, window decal, and media promotion.

School Recycling Champion Application
- Your school or at least 50% of the school district MUST be in Franklin County to qualify.
- Your principal/ administrator must be aware and supportive of your application to the School Recycling Champion Program.
- After reviewing your application, SWACO will contact you to discuss the next steps.
- The following personnel are eligible to complete this form: teachers, administrators, or other school representatives. Interested students must have a school representative apply.
