April 1st may be April Fool’s Day but we’re taking a momentary break from joking to wish each and every resident in Franklin County, a happy Earth Month! 2025 marks the 55th anniversary of Earth Day which is celebrated annually on April 22 and SWACO appreciates everything local families, residents, businesses, schools and community leaders are doing to make central Ohio more sustainable.
In central Ohio, the entire month of April is dedicated to community events and activities aimed at caring for our environment and celebrating our shared dedication to reduce the amount of waste we create and choose to reuse, recycle and compost when we can.
If you don’t already have plans to celebrate or participate in a service project this month, consider this email your invitation to join SWACO at an upcoming event.
