You may know that things like smoke detectors, motor oil, spray paint, and kerosene shouldn’t be put in your curbside trash bin, but do you know how to dispose of them properly?  SWACO has you covered with a permanent drop-off facility that accepts these items and many more.  Even better, SWACO sponsors mobile Household Hazardous Waste collection events in communities throughout Franklin County, and there are two coming up this fall.

  • September 27th in Grove City
    • At the Kingston Center at 3226 Kingston Avenue
    • 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • October 4th in Westerville
    •  At the Public Service Department at 350 Park Meadow Road
    •  8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
