Communicating your waste reduction and recycling performance can have a positive impact on your business and therefore is imperative. A study of customers by Sustainable Brands found:
· 88% expect companies to report on the progress of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts
· 88% will be more loyal (i.e., continue buying products or services)
· 80% would tell friends and family about a company’s CSR efforts
Each November we participate in recognizing Franklin County businesses that are doing great things regarding recycling initiatives. America Recycles Day is November 15th nationally and we enjoy sharing the accomplishments of businesses in our community. We welcome the opportunity to share your story and recognize your business! Share with us if you've started a recycling program, improved on an existing program, were able to engage with SWACO using resources or technical assistance to improve or revive a recycling program, or attended one of our educational webinars to help your business improve.
We'd love to know more about how we've helped you achieve your sustainability goals! Please send us an email any time! If you want to be featured for the November postings, our deadline is October 1st. We want to spotlight your achievements and are happy to do so on our social media channels.
